Cool beans. SS weren't in Sicily so if you have no Heer, Falshy or Lufty (or Italian) kit then Feldgrau wool or green HBT's are fine, no need to change badging. We are avoiding SS camo for this one.
Panzer Divs had a big part to play if you need an excuse to buy some smart kit!

Having a bit of a moral dilemma re:kit for this one. I don't want to go Lufty for it but, seeing as no SS units were present, just what sort of kit was worn/used in Sicily? I quite fancy some DAK gear if I can get away with it.

Pete, I've got photo's of Waffen SS and FJ in other parts of the Italian Campaign wearing a mixture or temperate and tropical kit - trousers/shorts, HBT or even wool tunics and a mixture of tropical and temperate head gear.

Not saying go out and buy a Sahariana jacket, but I think a mix of full tropical and also mix and mash will look great - unless it rains

That's my intention Del, a bit of a mix of kit.
