I've been wasting a perfectly good Sunday progressing the kit guide template - here is an idea of how it will look. Yith has the first go!
Text in the side panel will contain description of kit from top to toe along with sources and costs.
Of course, this could equally show basic impressions as well as pukka.

Looks good... I guess I better do some text at some point then! ![]()
If we shoot some stuff next Saturday Rich then at least we can get the Brit kit underway. If Dave Fell turns up in German kit then I may do him as well. I suppose I could bring my stuff for a basic (non-PBI!) Airborne look.
Gadge - the images are very high resolution, source of 20 to 25MB so I'd prefer to start from scratch and shoot new images. Get yourself to F&O next week and I'll do you too!

If i can get a lift there and back i wil.

That looks *very* smart. Not the chindit, the layout ![]()

Chindits don't try to be smart!
I do like the look of that Chindit stuff.
Dave, I could bring my Airborne kit to D-Day to get some pictures on the Saturday morning.
It looks absolutely brilliant, fantastic work.

Good plan - let's do what we can at D-Day.

I do like the look of that Chindit stuff.
Its a lot cheaper to do than NWE Brit as well...
There's no Wool! ![]()
Which means its a lot less useful for NWE weather ![]()

Here you go Richard - Brits have first dibs at this exercise!
I have given a template for the wordage - I'm looking for part descriptions, source and cost along with a brief overview of the impression.

nicely done... I'll get on to it!
Dave, how far do you want to go with this? I've put together my basic webbing loadout and will be bringing M42s, helmet, boots and gloves.
I'll pose with the Garand.
Shall I bring M43s too?

Well, we have got other things to do at the weekend so no need to go mad - it will be a long term project. Plus I can grab some of the yanks in good kit who are playing in the gear anyway. Stick with one 'outfit' I'd say!
I'll do SS Major in three versions, Guy can do Heer Major in two versions, Kermit err whatever Falshy? etc etc
