After Gadge's first post add a second with links to your PBI section and give details of how they can interact. Then sticky and lock it so it's for information only.
At the moment it's not clear that there is a new section or that they can express interest there and so you have to keep telling them...
I'll just move it to the PBI forums...

Just a quick one to say top marks on the launch of PBI ! The interest you're generating is fantastic , it looks like a new dawn for British WWII airsofters is coming . The picks make UK forces look very sexy , I'm seriously tempted to get a set of BD stuff again .

Well I was wanting to make a comment on the lack of a 1 minute silence at D-Day...
We did this at the F&O game on the 11th last year and I personally thought it was very well done and respectful. I really can't see this as being a problem at the Gunman game and I find Josh's comments on it VERY disappointing and rather disturbing... (especially on top of his SS roleplaying game) I'm really rather glad I'm not going.
However that is not what I'm here to post about... I was going to post this on the private D-Day forum since the public thread was locked, but found I could no longer see it.
This is what really disappointed me... It seems now that it had been decided that talk between PBI and CIA is no longer a friendly matter... that we each have to have our own little secret holes to bitch at each other? That is a crying shame.... I specifically asked for this not to happen as I thing openness is very important.
I'd not noticed Rich but that does seem a bit of a shame....

Tended to agree with both Gagde and Josh on that one . If we were planning to play on Rememberance Sunday then it would have been entirely appropriate , doing it the week before is naff , if not disrespectful .

, I just remember last year I spent rememberence sunday chatting to some lads from 6th airborne pathfinders (I say lads they were in their 80s) and sharing a pack of polos with them was humbling enough as one man was telling me he was 16 when he jumped over normandy.
Now I felt a lightweight and a bit of a fraud puting down my poppy standing next to these guys (I'd gone in 1940s Staffords parade order) as I felt my wearing my old dress no2s while not serving was a bit out of order, in retorspect I dont think I shoudl have gone in anything other than civvies reg tie and beret at that.
Anyway point is the old lads were pleased to see the kit they had worn and talk about their war, I'm just pretty sure they wouldnt have been impressed with a game of soliders about it.
See what I mean, for me I already feel bad about having paid my respects with best intentions in 40s kit, I think doing it at a game would for me be crass.

Indeed. I locked the thread to stop pointless circular and arguments - I'm finding the whole matter most distasteful.
I can understand what you're saying there Gadge... but I honestly can't see what is wrong with remembering the guys in an appropriate way at the event. and this close to Remembrance day I think it would be disrespectful not to!
In particular I feel Josh's comment that its "just a game" bad though. In the end it is a re-creation... players will be wearing the uniforms (etc)... I think it is important that they remember the fallen who wore them for real and directly or indirectly allowed the game to exist.
If they were playing chess then it would be "just a game"... they're not.
(I notice that my comment on the forums has been ignored so far...)
Its worth far more if an individual decides to remember what went before, when we're standing there this weekend - I know I will be - than forcing a group of people to do it.
