Hi all, this is my .30 cal nearly completed, just a few detail work on the outside of the gun,its all metal a part from the hard wood hand grip, the internals are a&k m249 which i only used the hop and gearbox only,so there we go an airsoft .30cal browning, the only problem its heavy roughly 30kg all together,so its not for 1 man to move around with on the field,im very pleased with it so far and hope to use it in the games very soon -- attachment is not available --

Very nice. Also good to see someone else making a support gun which actually has some weight to it. :good:

In comparison to the real ones, about the same weight then. I reckon 30kg's carriable as long as the guy didn't have anything else to carry, and someone else to carry the ammo box...bit like the real set up infact.

Need to start on the M1A1 Carbine now Mark

Nice work E coy .

Ball park cost for materials excluding the 249 ? Just curious since it's made from steel .Plusis that a fabbed or real tripod ?

The steel cost me nothing,as my uncles are steel engineers, the tripod i made from scratch that was the easy part to make, and it holds my weight standing on it,for the gun only i might build a few, if i get alot of interests i might make them as kits, just add your own internals, but a guess i reckon the steel from a metal workshop place would cost around £60 to £90 for all the steel .
But if anyone wants steel or anything made just see my web site and go to links they weld, cut, sandblast and spray etc etc.just email them

Most steel I use is scrap, m problem is when I take junk to the recycling centre metal comes back with me and gets recycled into guns
Steel pipe 50mm from old bed frames works great for barrel jackets.

Nice job on this e-comp :good:

Nice job on the tripod I didn't put the link bar on mine because I used galv pipe and the paint would not stick as i didn't know about etch primer back then
It must be about 10 years ago I made my 30cal in my main youtube video.
