Looks interesting, $299, by the time it gets over here it`ll be £299 , I must admit I`m not au fait with US weapons, is this a copy of another Garand ?.... http://www.evike.com/products/67808/

.......and this one looks very "plastic wood",

Wouldn't be surprised if it was an ICS clone!

The magazine well/magazine shape and 20 round capacity suggests a G&G clone.
Cheap though, and, if true, people might be able to finally get mags for the G&G Garands 2 years? after it was released
A&K

G&G

something about that just screams 'cheap and nasty'
then again it might just be the way evike do their photo's
Current ww2 armoury
King arms Thompson, ICS M1 Garand, ACM ZB28, ICS M3 Grease gun, ACM M1918 BAR, Kjw M1911, 2x WE Highpowers, Kwa Tokarev, Webley VI, PPS Bazooka, AGM STG44, Custom M1919 .30cal

How much are the ICS/G&G ones? £400?
I'd rather save up the extra wedge and get that I think.

Pretty much how I feel, if you want a Garand, chances are you want a nice one, if you just wanted a period gun on the cheap you could get an MP40, or Sten for a little over £100, or a Thomspon for a bit more.
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

even compared to the G&G my ics looks a bit meh, but at least i know the internals are solid. this thing just looks tacky, if i was starting fresh id save for the G&G

If it was about the £250 mark U.K I'd think about it.
What are A&K AEG's like as a rule? I've got the spring Dragunov and it's cracking. Needed a new hop and cylinder though.

Having repaired some A&K aeg's, mainly M4 and AK's, the internals are not bad at all, most Chinese and Taiwanese, makes have "upped" their games in recent times, along with Jing Gong, Cyma and the like, getting better all the time.
