Hmmm, I'm reasonably hopeful with G&G...

CG previews always make me less than enthusiastic but they can't do much worse than the Dboys.

It's a bit small. Or that's a big P90!

I hope they scale the price like that!

I'd be surprised if this was a springer. Given that G&G have a fair amount of experience making upgrade parts for Tanaka gas rifles, not to mention that their own G96 is a gasser as well, it's a fair assumption that a K98 from them will be gas as well.

Looks promising, agree with Kermit this`ll probably be gas operated. It would be really nice if this was sub £200 but I doubt it. 8)

The G&G G96 retails for around $380 USD, I can see a K98 selling for around the same amount.

Probably looking at about £280 if it ever hits the UK then. Bit of a shame, not exactly cheap enough to get more people to go bolt action. :(

£280 for a Kar98k that shoots well, if it does is a fair price.

If it turns out that they are worth that price I might buy a couple

Hell an MP-44 are over £200, same with any Allied SMG - hmm let's not even think what some of those guys from the 'future' pay for weapons

well they are the third company I know of to do a K98 (Tanaka, D-boys), so it's oviously worth doing. Maybe one of the Chinese companies will try and get in on the act.

£280 is a lot better than the Tanaka price but still not low enough to get more bolt actions on the field. :(

A quick update, again taken from their facebook page!

Land Warrior Airsoft Ltd Yeah we had a good meeting with G&G yesterday, it should be out by the summer. It will be CO2 and around the $400 mark from what we believe

Cheers
