Anyone got any info on removing the "Japanese market" restrictor from one of these?

Chris,

did you buy your rifle new or 2nd hand? I just wondered what the frontend of the bolt was like.

I have a bolt and the conversion kit, might be worth comparing?

also i have the manual and it has an exploded diagram of parts, I'll scan it tomorrow.

Del

Thanks for the replies fellas, just about to check mine now! Let you know the outcome as I want to use this weapon exclusively for sniper work, need a scope though and they are damned hard to find.

There is an alternative scope mount for the Tanaka - not the ZF-41 usual, rare mount.

I'm trying to remember where I saw them recently .....

it surfaced on a look over at tokyo-model.com.hk. I had thought about that mount b4 I managed to get the tanaka scope & mount.

Cost is $69 plus P&P Hope this might help?
