This is my first custom. Do not kill me : )
I have not finished 100%, I use another filler for imperfections

SO
I used

Cyma Receiver amended Card PVC plastic, metal filler, (I stopped near the entrance charger, impossible to bend PVC)
Protect rear sight Denix Thompson
Fixed rear sight (unfortunately) built entirely by me (metal and PVC)
Lever Armament modified with Milliput and dremel
Canna Cyma
Grip earlier reply (I think Cyma, bought on ebay)
I added port-sling replica
I bought the Original buttstock1928 but blocked by the Customs (damn)
For the moment I changed / worked M1A1 buttstock
Buttstock 1921 Cybergun Spring
rear sigth Cybergun spring
Switch Spring Cybergun

Internal Gear Box Modified
0,98 J (In italy max 0,99J)
Lypo 7,2V 1700 Mah 20C

Very nicely done!

I hadn't noticed the step in the receiver near the mag well until I read your description in more detail. It really doesn't stand out too much.

It's a shame about customs and the stock. Is there any chance you'll get it eventually?

A really nice and well done home conversion!
I want to do the same to my M1A1, once I have the time :)

You have certainly perfected the detail on that!
Did you make the new selector switches yourself or are they 'real steel'?

I used the selector switches of the Chicago Spring thompson (too rear sight and buttstock)
It 'been a very difficult job
I cut small white selectors (M1A1), selectors stuck in 1928 with the addition miny "small "screw.fully functional
About 10 hours (only selectors)
The stock more than two days

This receiver is much more solid, all-steel,no pvc

I also completed another barrel as Thompson 1928A1, identical to M1A1 but with cutt compensator (original)
Buttstock and handguard original 1928 (modified to replicate receiver thompson)
I built the Buttplate

My Buttplate (I watched many videos of oddball to learn and work iron and steel
THANKS

Real Buttplate (quite similar :happyclap: )
