Forgive my ignorance. I have been driven to distraction by the poor hop system in the K98 - what is this BGS hop, how will it improve existing system and what is involved in swapping it over?
Forgive my ignorance. I have been driven to distraction by the poor hop system in the K98 - what is this BGS hop, how will it improve existing system and what is involved in swapping it over?
From my research, it's a much more stable and consistent hop, giving greater accuracy shot to shot. The BGS also comes with a new bolt nozzle and hop rubber. I haven't found a bad word said about the BGS. An added bonus (or should that be problem?) is that it increases fps as well. Fitting involves a takedown of the rifle, removal of the old nozzle and refitting the new one and, obviously, removing the standard hop and fitting the new parts. The barrel may need slight modification as well.
Not sure if I'll be able to lay my hands on any yet, let alone 10!

does anyone know the barrel calibre of this gun?
Its 6mm, if thats what you mean, its the Marushin thats 8mm
i meant as in 6.o4mm or 6.08mm etc.
does anyone use green gas in this gun during winter?
