You have a lot of choice when it comes to buttons for a greatcoat. Brass with crest, plastic with crest or plastic 4 hole. None are exactly easy to find, a visit to Stoneleigh might be best.

roughout boots, they are BRILLIANT!

and a wermacht belt buckle, that does not fit on the belt...

oh, and all the stuff I got at the angels sale in november:

german:
1ppk holster
2 leather belt loops
dak y straps( I am convinced these were used in raiders of the lost ark, as both sets have the same innacuracies)
1 leather belt
1 m36 tunic (without insignia)
1 gas mask tin
1 gas mask like tin ( a little smaller, without the indentations, and green, does anyone know what it is?)
1 m36 greatcoat

British:
1 pair of duch bd trousers
1 sam browne holster
1 37 pattern holster
1 dispatch riders helmet

american:
1 lookalike greatcoat
1 duffle bag

I would, but the last time I tried to upload a picture it said the size is too big,and I have no Idea how to crop the picture. however, the belt was from the angels sale, and is marked 100. and the wermacht buckle is from sof.

French greatcoat for convesion to a US greatcoat. Need to find some plac which does buttons, anyone got any idea? :good:

If you are going to Stoneleigh they will be there.
I got a full set of brass buttons for my greatcoat from Warhorse at a past Stoneleigh. I'd only recommend buying from them in person.

Joss, it's pretty difficult to see any detail on your photos unfortunately. Is the belt too wide, or is it too thick? Are you able to get a shot further away and more in focus ?

Measure the width of the belt. Should be 50mm I think.
You might benefit from a buckle from Morigi. His current batch of steel buckles are a smidge wider than normal.

I just measured the belt, and it is 50mm, and the buckle is 45mm.
