NiMh. might swap it over to Lipo when i can be bothered, so i can put a skeleton stock on it.

Are you kidding? Yesterday (16th) I had a pile of packets delivered posted on 30th Nov/1st & 2nd Dec - and 15th Dec! They seem to be in a right pickle...
My postie said they had been working backwards through the backlog meaning the oldest delayed post would be delivered last. This being the case they must have (in this area anyway) cleared the worst of the backlog and are now working on current deliveries - that is to say the delay now is not the weather-induced backlog but the Christmas-induced rush.
I've just had a delivery from the Ukraine arrive in just over a week (very fast from there) yet I've been waiting for stuff from the UK since November. Very mixed up indeed.
I got a repro US Tanker helmet from WPG. Not bad at all. Plus it fits my big head.

Nice !! I've got an original 7 3/8 size one made by Sears Saddlery, Davenport Iowa. I'm thinking of buying the repro headset and Resistol goggles that WPG do. Do you rate them ?
I dont have the headsets or goggles from WPG but I rate them as a supplier.
I have original phones with the correct longer cable and some polaroid 1021 goggles.
If I could find an original 7 1/2 ( I think the largest wartime size) I'd buy it.
