A nice new para smock and some ankle boots which don't really seem to fit. Oh well, one out of two isn't bad.

Cheers
Martin

I picked up a couple of metal boxes from ikea - cheap and able to handle the 1000+ rounds I put thru my K98k/BJS hop.

Only slightly dented the bottom of the boxes. Can find the ikea code if anyone interested in a home/garden range target with 'back' box?

ARGH! the shotgun carry case I bought will just fit the gun lengthwise, but not with the scope on! I'll have to mark of the RIS rail where the scope was and hope it won't un-zero itself come sunday :evil:

From the National Vintage Comms Fair today;

Two "Type D MkV" Field Telephones;
One is a standard 'Type D MkV' in fair condition, service brown, missing its handset but with its headphone - and with original 'signals' carry brace/strap and an original inter-war/early war signals satchel (canvas type, with leather edge trimming/binding) in a fair/used condition - £15
The other one is a 'Type D MkV*' which is in great condition internally, but the outside has been repainted a 'Midland Railways' shade of maroon. It's of particular interest to me as its got the rarer steel chassis and three-piece steel lid (rather than the usual aluminium chassis and lid!) - £13

Also bought a 1944 dated '100lb, 150lb & 200lb Cable Tensioner' for Signals use for linesman line-laying - £5

An early pattern (WW1 to early-WW2) Vickers MMG oil can - these sell on eBay between £35 and £80! In really great condition - £3!!!

Plus other bits to help restore the power section of my "Exploder, Battery, Condenser Mk1", and other field-phone spares.

A Proud Member Of 'Team Spleen!' who play mainly at Gunman Airsoft, Tuddenham, Suffolk.
