My second Russian Obr.43 Uniform arrived 2 days ago (better fitting pants then the first pair! That's for sure ;))

Also picked up a set of Russian binoculars for my sniper impression at an event last weekend.

M43 US jacket used £21 posted and an amercan gi wool jumper for those cold winter months £13.50p posted.

God you have got to love E-bay US and the exchange rate right now.

cheers.

bollogs.

The US exchange rate is great at the mo but the turds at USPS have got rid of surface mail so most sellers charge sky high rip off priority charges for their Airmail which kills off the bargain element of most things now

USPS are about the only mail service on the face of this planet that can make RM look competently run and lightning quick by comparison.

I've had stuff shipped via them before, and i will NEVER EVER use them again.

UPS on the other hand, fucking awesomely quick. Never taken more than 48 hrs door-to-door when ive done orders with At The Front.

Decided to buy a book today *shock horror* naturally Derby's retail offer lacked anything in the form of large selections of books (though if you want to buy a chav or emo then there as common as dog muck on the footpath).

In the end I purchased "The World At War; The landmark oral history" by Richard Holmes, you'll probably know about it already but for those who don't its a collection of interviews which were not used in early 1970s "The World At War" TV series. Very interesting read, I might have to buy the TV series on box set because I missed a dozen episodes when they played it on the history channel.

Heres my collection as of now, Ive still got a CYMA thompson coming in witch im gonna try to make it converted to a 1928 "chicago typewriter version" . The M1 garand, and the MArlin Repeating rifle both are real guns. Notice the serial number on my garand, it was made in early 1941, and almost every part is original. The Thompson is Tokyo Marui, and the MP40 is AGM. Ive also got an original Russian Flight cap. The goggles are repros. The m-3 knife was my latest addition. Enjoy :D
