Hello all, after some not very nice exsperiances on other sites, I thought I would get to know this one first, then introduce myself.
I am 64 years old, fit, [well I think I am, cycling back from tescos once a week with a weeks worth of shopping in my rucksack]
I am retired, living on the government pension credit.
I used to do blank firing re-enactment, the club I was in had its own [hired] woodland, attendances tailed off so could not
keep up insurance and land hire.
I have never understood troops who wanted burger vans and portaloos on site, I have yet to see a film or photo of either on
real ww 2 battle field!!
I am slowly sorting out all this kit I have, I dont think there were many 64 year old in the trenches, hence quite a lot of
'rear area' stuff, SD, officers, [luftwaffe, heer, waffen-ss] most of it used in battle scenarios. [capture the general etc]
as and when all this kit surfaces I'll post it.

Good to see you've decided to stay with CiA and made it official! Hi from Oxford too! I used to be living in Wooton (the South Ox one, near you as opposed to the other two!) last year but have since moved up to Banbury.

The key reference is seperate to the membership number .....it was posession of the cards that clinched it . :|
