The site itself is very good, open areas, woodland , lots of big and small buildings . We had some interesting firefights , perhaps we ought ot have an WWII meet there just to fly the flag after Xmas .
Sounds like a plan.
The site does suffer from not really having much in the way of landmarks in the middle though... No really interesting building to fight over.
Also there is little cover between buildings and not really much chance to firefight within the buildings themselves. Most contacts are between buildings...
Also far too many windows that you can't shoot through! Ideally all windows should be taken out, but unless something has happened during the summer he's not allowed to.
There's the Canteen bit which is quite good, but I know what you mean , most of the firefights were from building to building . No multistory either IIRC.
I can understand though why they don't want the windows out, once the rain got in the buildings would deteriate much quicker.
He ought ot get the assualt course back in to use, I kept passing it on the way to regen thinking "I'll give it a go" . The 25m range could be good to use as well.
Yeah without that extra storey its rather flat... ![]()
Pronbably wouldn't take a lot to build some wooden sentry towers, give the snipers sommit ot go for , break up the empty spaces etc .
Making them safe might be an issue... H&S and all that!
Kiddies playgrounds have em
& Josh has built 2 for DDay so I can't beleive it's beyond the wit of man .
Mind you I don't know what restrictions Sean is working to . It may include a no building thing, as there was an absence of any sandbags, fixed positions etc similar ot what he had at Clay Pits Lane.
yeah... he's definitely not allowed to modify anything!
