Just wondering, for the future, whether anyone here knows where to get a repro stock for one of these. I plan to get an carbine and convert it.

SoF used to do one but they became very rare all of a sudden.

I think there are a few US real-steel accessory companies who do make them, but I'm not sure for how much or where to go.

PM Guinness either here or at the US WWII Airsoft forum. He built an M1 Carbine

There's 1 on ebay at the moment.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=005

I have been trying to convert my Gas M1C to an AEG, but unfortunately there are not many geaboxes that fit inside the stock, its very slim and its not very deep. I had thought about putting an MP7 inside it, but the full stock version doesnt have a pistol grip, so would looke rubbish.... plus MP7s are piss weak anyway according to warren.

Folding stock wise, the place in Italy that make them have stopped production, so there will be no more new 1s, so if you get 1 hang onto it. The folding stock version I would imagine would be reasonably straight forward, due to the pistol grip being able to house the motor.

But then again, I think you would find it hard to find any reference to infantry using the folding stock version, unless of course they'd taken it from a dead Paratrooper

Barrel length on that is tiny!

Good bit of engineering though, be interesting to see how it performed.

Hehe, it's not too short - It's about the length of a G3 Shorty/MC51. G3SAS or MP5K, now that's tiny!
