Why don't we give the game a Spanish Civil War theme?
put it down and step away.............................

Looking forward to this. Can't wait for more info so I can start spending my money on some SOE/Jedburgh kit!

why ..."no" is the obvious answer ....
Bloody hell, had to wait nearly a month for that bit of profundity from Guy!

i love the nazi zombies on COD 5 , all we need is a big old building to defend and a random weapon generator. best airsoft game ever .
You read my mind, don't forget we'll also be needing a laser gun!
Show me a man who will jump out of an airplane, and I'll show you a man who will fight!

So let's book the bugger... I'm already getting the signs of Post Christmas Seasonal Chocolate Deficiency Family Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PCSCDFTSS. Google it)
Hi all, really want this to happen.
I agree on the comments people have made about having civilian (or SOE) elements and the 'character card' idea Gadge is proposing at the PBI game as it gives the Germans the chance to do the 'papieren bitte' (can't speak German so apologies) and gather inteligence who is working for who. Means that civilians can casually walk past Germans if they have their gun tucked out of sight and aids the atmosphere.
Throw in a few objectives requiring big bangs, double crossing partizans for the allies (doesn't need to be just Commandos - scenario could work in 'rescue some captured others'/ 'get to a downed plane and crew', 'US/ Brit combined op', in and out raid, etc). Lots of Germans racing around rounding up people, questioning them, Gestapo, whistles, etc. As an idea, the game might start with the Germans lolling around doing general garison duties and relaxing until the alarm (or a big bang) kicks the whole thing off? At an unknown time for most to really get the panic going?
Could be the best game ever!
God I'm salivating.
One plea, don't time it for a Bank Holiday and can you get a likely weekend fixed asap so I can put it in the diary as family always wins if there is a conflict!

Heh, sounds like a cross between games already run - Arnhem (stopping and searching civvies with ID papers) and Eagles (entire US garrison without weapons for first hour while all sorts of German weirdness went on)

I missed the Arnhem and Eagle game as I didn't find out they were being run until too late
Sounds like those aspects could be incorporated again just to add a bit of additional interest?

Hmmm, this does sound interesting. Wasn't sure to start with but I (Anne) am liking the idea more and more.... could be fun!

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."
