From WPG, a commando jumper and some denim 37 pattern battledress trousers, which fit perfectly on the waist and are massive everywhere else. Time to get the sewing machine out I think.

Yeah, WPG are like that with their wool battledress too. I took in the wool ones, but i've never bothered with the denims, they're still sat in a box.

Latest Purchase: 160lb tent. Just in time for Cassino.

Got a good lookalike for a US rain poncho, looks like I'll really need it! Loads of upgrade stuff, new bearings, high speed gearing, air seals, hop rubbers, a full grease set, teflon oil for the barrels. Made myself a custom selector bar for my M14 that seems to have sorted the jamming issue and started milling and turning some bits for my M1 carbine project and some greasegun parts.

The complete Spike Milligan Memoirs. I've had the odd one over the years but thought I'd get the lot for humour and reference at the same time.

Brilliant series, I appropriated them off an old flatmate who 'overlooked' to pay his rent every once in a while. Reading them in sequence rather than bit by bit really made a difference

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

A bit of an anomaly,a genuine Airborne helmet that has been converted to an RAC one,got the 3 original holes and glue where the liner was stuck in,but then has the burn marks where they have heated it to drill the strap holes for a tanker strap ,and has the tanker lining and strap with the owners name on.

Pre / early war (hopefully) Rudge Gents Bicycle, it's been badly hand painted and only has third gear atm, but I'm sure some tinkering will reveal some identifying marks so I can find out more about it. The Home Guard units for Sealion now have transport :D

Yeah like I'm the guy that won the Euro millions and didn't tell anybody
Wrong period weapon but I could do a decent drive by shooting with my PPsH, quite stealthily too. Have done these in landrovers and quads but never by pushbike! :D

Post war German mess tin, but almost exactly the same as the wartime pattern (other than being 3 part).

BC611 - empty shell from WPG.

Now I just need to get a radio in it.

This shouldn't be a major problem! :D

It's ally. Quite thin and light. But it seems fairly well built to me.

It certainly looks nice.

There's loads of pics of one here: http://ww2reenactors.proboards.com/inde ... 500&page=2
