BC611 - empty shell from WPG.

Now I just need to get a radio in it.

This shouldn't be a major problem! :D

e-company (ShadowWolf on the Gunman Airsoft forums) made a pair of BC611s rather easily and cheaply: http://gunmanairsoft.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=1877&st=0&p=15605&hl=walkie&fromsearch=1&#entry15605
I'm sure he'll be good enough to divulge to you how and what he made them from.

(Had been searching for the page on the forum for you Yith, but looks like I'm too late).

With my on-going interest with WW2 comms' equipment, I managed to acquire a copy of Admiralty issued "Handbook Of Wireless Telegraphy 1938" for £2.99!

"The dress distinctions of the 8th Kings Royal Irish Hussars", produced for the amalgamation in 1958 but, covering the Regiment from 1900. Well pleased, as it's a super rare book.

It is.

It is stamped COY M and HAMILTON MONT

which I assume is 'M' Company, and Hamilton Montana - where there is a fort that was used as a POW camp during the war.

Leather handles are intact and sturdy and the woodwork appears sound.

From the DDRC bootsale today:

WW2:
(Yet another blummin'...) British Type F field phone. Bit of a rare bird, as it's transit case escaped the mid-century "paint everything green with white stencilling" era. It's completely original bare wood and steel wartime looks - £10!!!
Field telephone superposing transformer - 50p!!!
37patt webbing belt, all brass fittings - £1
37patt voltmeter pouch ('42 dated, not one of the more common post-war ones) - £1
Signals' 37patt webbing brace - 50p
WW2 type/pattern earth rods (x2), for wireless sets and field telephones either repro' or very clean unissued - £2.50 each
British No3 Microphone - £3
British No4A Microphone (with WS18 type connector) for Yith - £6
Brit Type L field phone handset, cracked in half, but the cord/cable is in fantastic condition, and all the internals and plug will be useful spares! - £1!
A pile of greatcoat serge off-cuts, to repair moth-holes in my kit and make other items from. - £1

Non-WW2:
East German NVA waterbottle w/cup - £1.50p

Nearly bought a wireless set aerial-rod bag for £5 (don't worry Yith, it wouldn't have suited your WS18 - it was for 45ft masts for WS19 base-stations etc...), and a pair of size 11 WW1 ammo boots for £10, too...but didn't :slap:

Stg44 mag loading adaptor and take down tool.
A selection of gas mask and generic ribbed rubber hose. Searching for the ultimate hook up for the Tie Fighter helmet.
Ok not WW2 but still dressing up and much fun.
