Follow the links and the story goes back years.
Dutch or Danish, they certainly are not '37 pattern and certainly not British.
Bloody useful though?

Cheers for the links!
Yeah, so far it's already proven itself useful to me - I might try and hunt down another at Stoneleigh.

Brown/grey 40's style trousers. That's the last part of my Volkssturm kit complete! Cheapest loadout ever, didn't spend more than £15 on any item of kit excluding my MP40.

Yet another plastic cap badge, West Riding Regt this time.
Also dropped on an original black bakelite butter dish. Nice DIN marks and very definitely period not a resin repro. Bargain at £12, the good repros are that.
A nice chap on the WWii forum made me a 2" bomb carrier. Nice bit of kit, just need to dull the poppers a little.
I also picked up 2 more receivers for my wireless pyro firing system.

With a shortage of spendable cash I resolved not to 'fritter' and instead made one large purchase last year, a splendid German command tent.

And now I have gone and made the purchase for 2011. Instead of all my Christmas money being lost on household expenses like it always is I made the selfish decision to spend it on myself for once. I have a thing about footwear and a theory that an impression starts from the feet up. OK, it wasn't entirely my theory, Judy Dench (I think) agrees with me and said she started her characterisations from the footwear.

Anyhoo, having lusted after a 'proper' pair of low boots for years and drooled over photos of beautiful craftsmanship and skilled shoe making I went and bought a pair of handmade boots from Czechoslovakia. And they have just been delivered. Stitched and pegged full soles, glued and pegged half soles, thick & supple leather. Oh my golly gosh, they are beautiful.

Now to start work on the dubbing!

Just took delivery of my Ares PPsH. :happyclap:

Very impressed so far, rock solid and shoots hard and fast. 345fps out the box.

De-cocking feature when you pull the bolt all the way back is a nice little feature too. Very happy so far. :)

After I was forced of selling my m1 carbine to Mitrano to raise some cash. I wanted to get one back when i had some money so...

A broken marushin blowback "M1" carbine (calling it a M1 when it is clearly a M2 is a horrible thing!)

M1 Carbine Stock FAT stamped (Mitrano might like it as it is an ittalian!)

A home made M1 Style Trigger Housing made to nearish specs just needs a little sanding etc to fit a magazine but slides and fits nice and easy into the gun.

M1 Carbine Safety (new type) and Old style mag release.

The top one is the marushin and parts and the bottom one is real / home made. Please note the M1 Trigger housing of the marushin will not fit a real M1 Stock without modification and vice versa.

Unissued M65 US Army parka :happyclap: shortly to be re-trimmed with the fur from some unfortunate dead animal.

I've wanted one of these since I was 16.

If anyone has a M51 that doesn't cost the earth please PM me.

A zinc tin with Blanco impressed in the top. Not perfect but the first one I had seen for sale for 5 years.
A little wrench to aid changing the valves on gas magazines.

From Stoneleigh today:

New set of 37patt webbing, (built on a super-tight budget for my good lady to use) made from:
War dated 37patt belt, lightly pea-green blanco'd, but missing clasp brasses - £1
Generic multi-blanco'd/painted/heavily worn 37patt belt, bought to cannibalise for brasses for the ^above^ - £1
Pair of unissued 'normal/medium' cross straps - £2
Water bottle holder (I have a spare water bottle) - £1
Pair of 37patt MkIII pouches, un-blanco'd - £2
Pair of 37patt L-straps, still nicely blanco'd - £2

Leather 03patt rifle bandoleer, leather ripped at buckle end (easy fix), 1915 dated! - £10!!!

Another 49patt BD blouse, great unissued condition, ready to be converted - £8

SoF GS cap, 62cm for my massive head, bought from a guy who never wore it (it's brand new unshaped) - £20

Two brown thin-wool open-faced balaclavas, as seen worn by British infantry (especially those working the guns, or PoWs), primarily bought to be worn to hide my 'historically incorrect' long hair! They work well! - £1 each

'Private purchase' manufacture British KD shorts, great condition, genuine 1940s, 36" waist so fit me nicely with some room to spare. I've just found that there's still sand in the pockets! - £5!!!

Pair of Home Front/ATS anklets - £2

Repro' "MG" qualification badge, for my Middlesex loadout, my original I bought at Stoneleigh last year has gone walkies... - £5

1941 dated early-type (with flap lid) 37patt ammunition liner carrier, rare! -£5!!!

"Signals" 37patt carry strap, for one of my field phones - £1

SLR green nylon 'Enfield sling', for a mate's SLR - £2

One real steel STEN mag - £6

One rusted to buggery STEN mag - £1

Three inert 9mm rounds - 0.75p each
