From Doncaster carboot this morning:

1941 dated 'toolbox' sized Brit' ammo box "THUN[der] FLASH" in dirty but good condition, retaining most of its original paint, wire lid catches and event the rubber grips on the side handles - £8 (a bit more than I was willing to pay for it, but I couldn't resist it in the end)

Hi John, The G-43 is the one that Jay851 built - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=13291

Only issue has been with the hopup, an A&K issue not Jay's work.

Hopefully the new unit will resolve this and the G-43 will join my Tanaka Kar98k in it's status as an Allied killer lol

From Fulbourne village carboot sale today:

4 x Unissued mint condition '44patt bino pouchs, all dated 1953, sold to me as '58patt! - £1 each!!!!
2 x Unissued mint condition '58patt NI issue SLR butt pouchs. - £1 each!

I passed up on a 1943 dated Air Ministry flight computer for £10, as I have no idea what these are worth or what it'd do in my collection...

Last week, I was given many items from a collection that belonged to a friend of mine and my father, who sadly passed away a short while back. I am very grateful for the items I have been bestowed. The items include some more field phones, gas masks, Home Guard pouches and belt slider, a No12 Mk7 Barr & Stroud rangefinder and its box, among many other items all in unissued or very good condition.

There are a few kicking around, but they start at a tenner and go up to twenty quid for a very good copy.

.. now to get a battery and connectors for it as it's wired up for deans right now and I, personally, don't like that

Well each to his own... ;)

However having used Deans now for about 4 years, I'll never go back to those awful tamiya connectors!

That is something I dont recall seeing, a pros and cons review of possible power connectors.

got me my first WW2 airsoft weapon :D found a nice mp40 for sale with a good amount of mags - now to get a battery and connectors for it as it's wired up for deans right now and I, personally, don't like that

Deans are by far the best way to go, I changed all my AGEs to Deans. Better connection in a smaller package.
