The engineers are the workers in the Heavy water plant. They're semi-scripted, so some may be Norwegian, and some will be german. Obviously this will affect their allegiances. They wouldn't be armed as standard, but might be able to get to the armoury if the alarm is raised.
Don't really want to give too much away though!
