as i think due to the forum move , it lost my post , so here it is again THANKS to josh and everyone at the game , cracking day all 15 of us from the 34th and our adopted airborne medic had a blast, loved going out in the truck and some great scraps , deaths , attacks , counter attacks.

It seemed every time i tried to get a sandwhich the gerries attacked on force(damm you ...) so many good moments cant wait to see pedros and any one elses photos :)

and once again the airsoft gods were good with the weather :)

also thanks for the strawberries at the end :) helped to counter all the choclate / sweets and easter eggs we had eaten lol

Yes thanks Josh and crew for a fun day :good:

Also thanks to Russell and Calum for helping to crew the howitzer. It finally got a few kills, the artillery duel with the 34th's mortar was great fun :D

Russell your artillery spotter thing was awsome :good:

See, now that is nasty. I just wanted to nick it.

A great day of intense battles. The pyro's really added to the day too. Being werfed by nebels was a first. :happydance:
I think we (the allies) did a good job of holding the attacking Gerries back, making every inch of ground lost a hard won victory for them.

Riding in the deuce has made me want one even more now too.

Thanks to all that organised the day and to the players. Great fun. :happyswing:

Thanks for a great day. Me and my friend on the german team really enjoyed our first ww2 game.

Really enjoyed sneaking behind enemy lines to take out the nebelwefer even though we came across the entire german team and were swiftly disposed of. Also had fun defending the tree line with my fellow Brits.

Regards,

Ralph

I would like to thank Josh, his team and everyone else as well. Great game.
All the props really added to the game. I loved the vehicles especially when we were riding in Josh's car with a whole German squad. We were coming to CP1 which we thought to be in firm heads of our troops only to run into an allied counter attack. We had to jump out under attack which was great.

Rolling Tim's gun into the field was good fun trying to take strong points out. It quickly became an objective for both sides to take out or reactivate.
We need more of this stuff :good:

Had a great day, apart from being dragged through the mud by my own team! But that was after the game.

Thought the demo charge blowing up the truck was really impressive.
There were so many explosions and the sound of the Nerfer was very scary.

Wish I had seen the PIAT in use.

Thanks to everyone for putting in the effort needed for an event like this. It only becomes apparent when you take a moment mid-battle to look around and see the level of detail in people's kit, smoke, explosions, intense fire fights, props, vehicles and of course epic Hollywood deaths! All makes for a great day! :good:

Well,well :good:
What can I say, everyone that went home on saturday missed the rain so you were lucky but you didn't get to see what the Germans could do to the allied forces in a mind blowing epic ambush with all the bang & smoke that you would have in a real fight. :happyclap:
Hats off you Josh & the only 5 Germans left on sunday who nearly wiped the allied forces out but one loan airborne player saved the day. :happyswing:
Cheers to Josh & crew plus all of the players for a good saturday which will be rememberd for all the right reasons (epic battles & shit loads of pyro & chocolates & strawberries) but also for the following day of epic firefights but on a smaller scale. :happyclap: :happydance: :happyswing: :happyclap:
I see that the same players plus some newbees at alot of these games & as we play more together the better the games get & is it me or did more pyro get let off than any previous game you've been to.
Cheers to all
Peter. :ghey:

Thanks to Josh and his team for organising the event. :)

Good fun, with a very friendly atmosphere and some intense fights. Outstanding level of sportsmanship too across the board.

The ambush on the GJ mountain gun was excellent until we got counter attacked.

Highlight was getting in to a good scrap with BootedFeet. Thompson vs Kar98. I didn't win.

Great to see a lot of mates and meet a few new ones as well. :)

Had a fantastic day yesterday, despite my legs still being numb from all the nettles. some great firefights and loved the last stand at the end.

Did anyone see a webbing anklet anywhere? My father lost one out in the field somewhere...

The rest of the GJ squad were supposed to be sweeping through the wood you appeared from. The plan was when they made contact the IG75 advancing down the track outside the wood would wheel and lob some rounds in support. Instead the rest off the squad disappeared off on some fools errand and left us wheeling the gun over a rutted road completely oblivious to your advance :slap:

From the Allied point of view, i remember taking out the Gun crew and (through the use of a blizzard of frags and smoke) pushing the Krauts out of the CP. Just as we were considering pushing to the tree line someone started screaming "ENEMY VEHICLE! ENEMY VEHICLE! Thus our drive faltered and we 'stalled. The rest is history!
I really enjoyed the day and nearly wet myself when invited to jump on the trucks .50 at the last stand, Cheers to Sarge for giving me a memory i will never forget!
It's true that at WW2 games the quality of play is always top notch! looking forward to seeing the photo's from the day...

Many thanks to Josh and his team for a great day, good to see the usual high level of play and kit from all players, some great moments. Thanks to Tim for letting us crew his amazing Gebirg IG  , we were even getting quite slick reloading at one point  and thanks to Lutz for lugging the mortar around, as we eventually managed to get some long range shots over the trees into CP2 :good: My only comment would be that our squad might have been more cohesive with a more specific command structure, as I thought at times there were 'too many chiefs', which I felt led to a less strategic approach to our attacks and a more just charge and hope for the best open day approach, but overall a great day :D

Cheers

Thanks Josh and the crew for putting on a great event. Saturday was awesome with lots of counter attacks by the allies which made us Germans work hard for every point taken. Great game play all round. Sunday was a quiet affair but still good fun. Thanks to everyone who took part.
