Not quite right, it was Boris that had a rusty bayonet. Well, I say bayonet, more a pocket knife really. Thank heavens I had my butter dish in my breadbag...

No wait, I forgot the rectal tearing from Boris's ravaging but I won't claim a medal for that, the paperwork would be too embarrassing, besides which it might slip out that I gave myself up voluntarily twice more. Nothing like a bit of rough now and again.

Aaah, now I understand why you wanted me to take a picture of 'your best side' as you put it the next day.

Do you still want me to send Boris the full size A0 laminated copy with the hole cut out as well? ;)

After Rhys's post I rushed off to check my facial lump, I don't think there's anything in it - Rhys how did you know?

I nominate Chommers for a wound badge as I think during the evening rescue I may have accidently shot him in the bu......tocs whilst attempting to anihilate his captors. Er sorry herr Oberst (couldnt remember what the german rank is?)

'kin hell Rhys! No wonder I couldn't feel anything on the cut when I examined it....the bb was further into your face!

Can anyone explain how I got this bruise when I was wearing safety glasses?

The answer is Del somehow managing to fit a K98 round in the tiny gap between my glasses. I nearly shat myself.-- attachment is not available --

My M1 helmet usually covers that little gap, I hadn't really thought about it when not wearing the helmet.

No worries Del, it's all in the game.

Kav gave me an impressive welt on the shoulder too. Bleedin' K98s.

I think the Tanakas should be dropped from using Green gas during hot weather to... Haze air freshener.

Well, it'd smell nice

My pistol seals went, fixed now, but I will be using 134a in the warmer days I think.

My injuries also extend to a rather nice scrape down the side of my arm when the roadside collapse under my feet and I slid 10 foot down a gravel bank.

I think it was just a combination of enthusiasm, dedication, good weather and an extremely tough site terrain.
